Bluesky is an independent branding consultancy. It is wholly owned by the active professional partners who each have more than 25 years’ global experience at the highest levels in the industry. Clients fall into 3 main categories; FMCG, Corporate and Destination brands. Andrew’s 25 year career in design, marketing, advertising and branding has spanned the UK, Europe, Australasia, South Pacific and the Middle East.
He has worked in many sectors; from aviation to retail, finance to agriculture, real estate to energy, FMCG to education and non-profits to media. But he has gained a particular reputation for destination and nation branding programmes, including:
Fiji Islands, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Al Ain, Madrid, Oman, Abu Dhabi, Papua New Guinea, Qatar and Madina A’Zarqa, the work for which was awarded Best Marketing Campaign Middle East & North Africa.
He is often asked to work with VIPs, and was asked by CNN International to help develop their own strategic approach to destinations and governments.
Earlier in his career he held several senior posts at leading companies, including: Creative Director Middle East of Landor Associates; National Creative Director of New Zealand's leading privately held advertising agency; Head of Creative at Capital Radio Group in London and Senior Designer at BDG/McColl, UK.
During his career Andrew has written, produced and directed numerous television commercials and film projects, working with Hollywood A-listers, global sporting icons, as well as judging the New Zealand AXIS Advertising Awards.
Didier has more experience on marketing-led FMCG branding than most professionals accrue in a lifetime. He takes the lead on all FMCG clients including Masafi, Lactalis, Mehdi, Pride, Bluebird and American Garden. During bluesky's relationship with Masafi over the past 4 years the company has launched several new lines of products as well as CSR and environmental initiatives.
He has worked closely on all bluesky's projects including KSA Capital Market Authority as well as destination brands within Saudi Arabia, Oman and more recently Papua New Guinea.
Previously he was Creative Director in Landor Paris from 1993. He was responsible for overall coordination of the creative solutions generated by teams across all phases of branding projects, from analysis and planning to creative development.
He developed an expertise in branding at a European level. His clients include Danone, Kellogg’s, Bonduelle, McCain, Bel, Carrefour, Reckitt & Benkiser, Procter and Gamble as well as the NSEC in Norway and ISRN.
He was also involved in the ECV academy’s teaching as specialist in packaging design. He has worked in different design firms in Paris and also spent a part of his career as a freelance illustrator. Born in Perigueux, France, Didier graduated from the Beaux Arts (Arts School) in Visual Communication in 1985.
